Together forever

I waited for you a thousand years,
in this darkness and chill that prick like spheres,
My body all shrivelled and pain all gone,
my soul perhaps, somewhere else is born,
through tides and through seasons,
from dusks to dawns,
am laid in this grave under the lawn,
and then something strange dwelled upon,
suddenly the cold air felt so warm,

felt like the time is playing its trick,
when the men in the chapel up moved each brick,
And as they pulled me out,
in a pile of dust neatly resting on the ground
suddenly in the air I felt your scent around

And as they piled you besides me,
i remembered our vows forever to be,
together and throught beyond eternity,
With nature itself we had a treaty.

And at this moment as we rest in piles,
to be scattered in ashes across the miles,
remembered our vows to be lovers forever,
a vow to stay together forever and ever.
